Midnight witnessing/Farewell to a friend

Image
Wednesday nights have become the night when we join the English Hall for midnight witnessing. Brothers and sisters from different congregations (Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, sign language, English  Tagalog etc.) we all meet up at a local hall at 10 pm for the service meeting.Your probably wondering how midnight witnessing is done? or even where? if it's door to door? or in the bus stops? or even who is awake at 12 in the morning??  Well first of all in the service meeting the brother usually asks how many drive. Depending on how many we get divided into groups (never an exact amount in a group is just more like fill up the car) after that we go to the local coffee shops, 7-elevens, Gas stations, and any stores that are open at that time. You'll be amazed how many people are up and going at that time.I have gone for 3 Wednesday's continually and In all the 3 night's I have found very good calls. They listen Very well especially...

Times of Need Will Come

A candle light, phone, paper & pen, and book that's all I have with me right now. This past weeks have been very tough for my family and I. I have a very big family and most of are living together in this house ( we are 15 member's wowzers i know) Everyone is trying to keep it together but by looking at everyone's faces you can tell their sad. I'm sure by now your wondering why or whats wrong? Well we haven't had light or water for 3 weeks already. i know its not as bad as what others go through and I know we aren't the first or the Last to have economic problems. But to be honest its been a daily challenge and struggle especially when its night it gets dark early (around 4-5pm) so to get ready for Friday night meetings we have start getting ready early to be able to see where we are going and where our stuff is at and YES flashlights have been a great help but those batteries die fast. To shower we have had t...

A little About me

It's been quite sometime that I been posting up. And It still quite an amazing thing to me that there is actually people who read my blog! Ive never meet some of you so I though I would tell you a little about myself.  I'll start by telling you about how my parents learned the truth. My mom was 10 years old living in Mexico in a little "Pueblo" called bella vista  (translated to English beautiful view) when she first started studying. As my mom says she didn't like studying she saw it as if it took her time away from playing with her friends. My mom comments how when they would come to give her study she would do everything possible to not study. She would pretend she was sick, she would rip her stockings so her study would get delay, she would mess up her hair and clothes. But little did she know that the little girl who would do the possible to not study would do the impossible to stay loyal to Jehovah. My mom was young when she meet my dad in the ...

That's the time we started getting ready at our plan was to leave at 5:30 but some partners kind of slept in lol so we started heading our way to the buses at 6:00. Our car group was the biggest we where 7. We then saw who was morning people and who wasn't. some where talking and talking while some where just sitting down half asleep. It was a very interesting car ride. When we got to the bus station we bought and all day pass for $6.00.
